For the round island riders, esp those not familiar with the route, please look out for red arrows paint sprayed discreetly on the road at important intersections. Also there will be poster red arrows with our event logos on it mounted on strategic points to show you the direction. To further ensure that you do not land yourself in Butterworth, RELAs will be there to guide you.

LATEST UPDATES ( 19/10/09 10.00pm)

AS of today, we have engaged 120 RELAS, 6 police outriders, about 20 traffic police personnels, 30 St John (paramedics, first aiders, motorised paramedics and bicycle paramedics), 3 ambulances, 50 girl guides, 15 Rotarians, 15 G Club members and wives and our latest addition 15 HAM Radio Operators who will be based along the route, in all 3 ambulances and also at the base Medical camp so as to maintain constant simultaneous communication throughout the event.

MPPP has also consented to provide free parking (181 bays) at Fort Cornwallis car park from 6 am to 1 pm.

We also like to confirm that the Sg Rusa water station will be unique as it is actually a Pak cik's stall selling nasi lemak, roti chanai and teh. He has consented for us to use the front part of the stall, his table etc and our sponsor Suntonic will be providing isotonic drinks and we have sourced some bananas from the Balik Pulau locals for our participants. Should you fancy a cup of tea with roti chanai and nasi lemak, make sure you bring along some money to pay our Pak cik. (He only provide the space for free not his food!!!)

KAT BAWAH NI BUKAN ANNOUNCEMENT DARI RIDE WITH CM. SAJA NAK MERAPU

Preparation dah dibuat, jenterapun dalam condition yang memuaskan. Walaupun tak kayuh sejauh rakan2 lain, preparation kena buat jugak. Latihan mesti ada walaupun hanya 12km. Tujuan masuk 12km adalah supaya my harmonic merasa berkayuh dengan orang ramai. Yang penting hati XYL kena jaga, maklumlah kebelakangan ni hampir setiap hujung minggu asyik tak de je kat rumah. Nak jaga hati punya pasal kita bawa depa bercuti
